Molecular description: The cre ATG was inserted via recombineering techniques, into the Sim1 ATG site of a BAC containing 137.1 kb of genomic C57BL/6 Sim1 sequences up to and including exon 8. The inserted cre sequence deleted the first 31 bp of the Sim1 gene. Lines 1 and 2 were generated. The pound symbol (#) is used when no line is specified and/or lines are pooled.
