  The mapping of Slc26a3 by FISH contradicts the Chr 12 assignment in J:60762. The clone used for FISH mapping was isolated using human EST AA717241 which is similar to mouse Slc26a3. However the sequence of Slc26a3 (AF136751) BLAST with mouse Chromosome 12.
