Notes
  • Experiment
Four cosmid clones were isolated during the screening of 129/Sv library with a lysozyme M cDNA probe. Further subcloning, mapping and hybridization analysis of these cosmids indicated the presence of another lysozyme gene upstream of lysozyme M. These genes, Lzp-s and Lyzs, are arranged in tandem on Chromosome 10 with their coding sequences separated by approximately 5kb.
