    Subsequent information in J:59437 show that the the H7 gene discussed in J:30730 was actually H61 (Bailey's H7) and not the original H7 (Snell's H7).
  • Experiment
    During the construction of congenic strain B6.C-H7b (strain HW23) alleles of Mod1 and H61 were co-transferred from the BALB/cBy background into C57BL/6By background. Furthermore in congenic strain B10.C-H7b (strain 47N) alleles of Bgl-e and H7 were co-transferred from the BALB/cBy background into C57BL/20Sn background. These data confirm the CXB RI mapping location and provide an ordxer of Mod1 - H61 and Bgl-e on mouse Chromosome 9. Subsequent information in J:59437 show that the the H7 gene discussed in J:30730 was actually H61 (Bailey's H7) and not the original H7 (Snell's H7).
