Inbr. F108 (N, 1988).

Colour: Albino.

Genet: c.

Origin: Hunt 1937, developed for resistance to dental caries (Hunt et al 1955).


Characteristics

Poor reproductive performance (19/12) and low litter size (9/12). Dislikes handling (Hansen et al 1973). Takes longer to develop dental caries, and incidence of Streptococcus salivarius and lactobacilli lower than in CAS (Hunt et al 1955).Susceptible to the induction of experimental allergic encephalomyelitis (Gasser et al 1975).
