1961 in Peru for Dr. Margaret Wallace. At about generation 15 in 1971
stock was passed to Drs. T.H. Roderick and Eva Eicher, who maintained
separate stocks, PERA/CanRk and PERA/CamRk. Moderate susceptibility to
experimental allergic encephalomyelitis with late onset (10/10), high
severity (2/10), high mortality (1/10) and high incidence of spontaneous
