Inbred Strains of Mice: MT

MT

Inbr. 124. Albino A,B,c. Origin: Albino Mus musculus from Univ. Tokyo to Hok in 1946. Crossed with Mus molussinus, and an albino substrain separated. Inbred by S.Makino. To Idr in 1972, and maintained by R.Shoji. Various congenital abnormalities have been found including 7% exencephaly (Shoji et al, 1984). Maintained by Idr.
