from outbred albino mice. High fertility, low mortality and rapid growth
in tropical conditions. Tumour incidence 32%. Amyloidosis and chronic
nephritis seen in old animals. 95% of old animals also develop cataracts
which may be caused by a recessive mutation (Menendez
and Abdraschitova 1990
