Caption Upper left, Tyrc/Tyrc and lower right, Tyrc/Tyrc-ch Oca2p/ Oca2p. Mice homozygous for Tyrc exhibit hair and eyes that are completely devoid of pigment. Tyrc-ch/Tyrc-ch agouti chinchilla mice are gray rather than brownish gray, and Tyrc/Tyrc-ch heterozygotes are intermediate in color.
