The Q576R substitution promotes airway inflammation and remodeling after chronic allergen challenge. (A-D) Sham-(PBS) and OVA-sensitized control (Q576) and Il4ra^tm2Tch/Il4ra^tm2Tch (R576) mice (n = 15-20 per group) were challenged intranasally with PBS and OVA, respectively, twice weekly for 12 weeks. Airway inflammation was analyzed by histology (H&E staining; A-D). Arrows in B and D represent areas of perivascular infiltration.
