Inbr (Or) 20. Albino c. Origin: From outbred "SENCAR" mice produced by Boutwell (1964) using Rockland-derived mice from A.Sutter, Springfield Mo. Selected for skin tumors following initiation by DMBA and promotion with croton oil. Later crossed with outbred CD-1 mice. To McArdale Lab. for Cancer Research, to Oak Ridge. Inbred by Sloga in 1979 with further selection to F9 for skin tumors following treatment with DMBA and TPA. Maint. by Or.
