Characteristics

Low tumour incidence; resistant to induction of leukaemia by Moloney virus (1/9) (Law, 1966b). Nodular hyperplasia and adrenal adenomas in at least 10% of old mice; gonadectomy at 6 weeks enhances adenomas; some obesity; breeding ceases at approximately 9 months.
