phenotype observed in females
phenotype observed in males
N normal phenotype
cellular
• significantly reduced of germ cells in mutant female adult ovaries
• reduction of germ cells was observed in mutant testes at 14 weeks with almost no spermatogenic cells being detected
• lack of spermatazoa in caput and caudal epididymis
• impaired function of the centrosome linker
• significant increase in centrosome separation in tissue samples from 1 to 3 micrometers
• the average inter-centrosomal distance was increased from 0.5 micrometers in control mouse embryonic fibroblasts (MEFs) to 5 micrometers in mutant MEFs

endocrine/exocrine glands
• > 20% reduction in ovary weight
• fewer seminiferous tubules are present
• decrease celluarity of tubules
• loss of normal organization of spermatogenic cells
• 80% reduction in testis size

reproductive system
• significantly reduced of germ cells in mutant female adult ovaries
• reduction of germ cells was observed in mutant testes at 14 weeks with almost no spermatogenic cells being detected
• lack of spermatazoa in caput and caudal epididymis
• > 20% reduction in ovary weight
• fewer seminiferous tubules are present
• decrease celluarity of tubules
• loss of normal organization of spermatogenic cells
• 80% reduction in testis size
• 50% reduction in litter size, suggesting hypo-fertility
