growth/size/body
• phenotype disappeared by the F9 generation
• males in early generations developed a mild obese phenotype
• weight difference was first noticeable at 4 months of age
• males were significantly heavier at 15 months of age
• phenotype was mostly due to white adipose tissue
nervous system
• motor nerve recovery from a sciatic nerve crush lesion was slowed, taking up to 5 weeks as opposed to 3 weeks in controls
• sensory nerve recovery was normal however
• diminished axonal branching observed during the course of recovery from sciatic nerve crush lesion
hematopoietic system
• mice exhibit increased differentiation into T-helper 2 cells compared to in wild-type mice
• however, differentiation into other T-helper cells is normal
