Mutation details: An aspartic acid codon (GAT) was mutated to an asparagine codon (AAT) at amino acid position 397 (D397N). Cre-mediated recombination removed an intronic neomycin selection cassette. The amino acid position 397 in mice is equivalent to position 398 in human and the D398N variant is associated with reduced resting-state functional connectivity in humans.
