The vector has the potential to generate three different alleles (the two single mutations and one double mutation), depending on the location of the cross-over breakpoints during homologous recombination. The other allele that was created is Dicer1^tm2.1Glo. The neomycin reistance gene cassette that was inserted into intron 24, was removed through subsequent cre-mediated recombination. (J:278360)
