Mutation details: Exon 21 was replaced with one in which nucleotide substitutions result in the amino acid substitutions of phenyalanine for tyrosine at positions 1007 and 1008 in the activation loop. Cre-mediated recombination removed a floxed neomycin resistance cassette inserted upstream of exon 20. Western blot analysis confirmed normal protein levels.
