Germline Transmission:  Earliest citation of germline transmission: J:198335
Parent Cell Line:  MS12 (ES Cell)
Strain of Origin:  C57BL/6NSlc
Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Inserted expressed sequence)
Mutations:    Insertion, Intragenic deletion

Mutation detailsA portion of exon 2 was replaced with corresponding sequence from Ceacam1Hv2-r. The allele produces a chimera with the N-terminal domain of Ceacam1Hv2-r and the C-terminal domain of Ceacam1Hv2-s. A floxed neomycin resistance cassette was inserted downstream of the modified exon 2. Cre-mediated recombination removed the neomycin resistance cassette. (J:198335)
