Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Conditional ready, No functional change)
Mutations:    Insertion, Intragenic deletion

Mutation detailsThe targeting vector replaced alternative exons 13 and 14 with an frt flanked hygro cassette and floxed the alternative exon 16. A spontaneous deletion of 307 bp removed exon 15. This deletion is expected to produce a protein lacking the autophosphorylation site tyrosine 397. Production of a truncated protein was confirmed by western blot analysis. (J:157804)
