Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Chemically induced (ENU)
Mutation:    Single point mutation

Mutation detailsAn ENU induced mutation that was shown to express 50% of normal levels of the encoded enzyme in heterozygous mice. The mutation has been shown to be a T to A transversion at position 276 in exon2. This changes the codon 91 from a tyrosine to a stop codon. A truncated protein oof 89 amino acids should be produced.
