Parent Cell Line:  W9.5/W95 (ES Cell)
Strain of Origin:  129S1/Sv-Oca2+ Tyr+ Kitl+
Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Null/knockout)
Mutation:    Intragenic deletion

Mutation detailsThis allele is a derivative of Nodaltm1Mku. Cre mediated recombination was achieved by crossing Nodaltm1Mku mice with transgenic mice expressing Cre under the control of the EIIa promoter. The recombination effectively removed the IRES beta-geo cassette, part of the 1st intron, the 2nd and 3rd exons, the 2nd intron and the 3'UTR of the Nodal gene. (J:73506)
