Results
Specimen 3A MACF1loxP/+; Nex-cre: postnatal day 10; Macf1tm1Efu/Macf1+, Neurod6tm1(cre)Kan/Neurod6+ (more )
Note: Conditional mutant.
Structure Cell Type Level Pattern Image Note
TS28: cerebral cortex cerebral cortex neuron Present Regionally restricted 3A bottom left , 3A top left Immunopositive neurons were relatively accumulated in higher bins (upper layer neurons) of the control cerebral cortex.

Specimen 3A MACF1loxP/loxP; Nex-cre: postnatal day 10; Macf1tm1Efu/Macf1tm1Efu, Neurod6tm1(cre)Kan/Neurod6+ (more )
Note: Conditional mutant.
Structure Cell Type Level Pattern Image Note
TS28: cerebral cortex cerebral cortex neuron Present Regionally restricted 3A bottom right , 3A top right The distinct localization pattern of immunopositive neurons was not seen in MACF1<loxP/loxP>;Nex-cre cerebral cortex. Immunopositive neurons in MACF1<loxP/loxP>;Nex-cre mice were found in both higher bins (3, 4) and lower bins (1, 2) of the cortical plate. Immunopositive neurons appeared abnormally spaced in the mutant compared with control.
