TS26: brainstem nucleus Present Regionally restricted 4E Expression in the brainstem was predominant in the pre-Botzinger complex, the nucleus Ambiguus, and the facial motor nucleus. Expression was much lower if barely detectable in the retrotrapezoid nucleus/parafacial respiratory group.
