Transgene
description
Transgene Type:    Transgenic (Conditional ready, Humanized sequence, Inserted expressed sequence, Reporter)
Mutation:    Insertion

Tg(CAG-lacZ,-FUS*R521G,-EGFP)673Gyu expresses 1 gene

Mutation detailsThis transgene consists of the cytomegalovirus immediate early enhancer-chicken beta-actin hybrid (CAG) promoter, a floxed lacZ gene, human FUS cDNA with the R521C mutation, IRES, and EGFP coding sequences. Cre-excision of the loxP flanked lacZ DNA allows for translation of FUS and EGFP. Two lines were generated: 673, and 682. Line 682 was chosen as a representative line. (J:216672)
