description
Transgene Type:    Transgenic (Inducible, Recombinase, Reporter)
Inducer:    tamoxifen
Mutation:    Insertion

Tg(Wnt11-TagRFP/cre/ERT2)28Amc expression driven by 1 gene

Mutation detailsA targeting construct containing a myristoylated Tag-RFPT variant of Red Fluorescent Protein, cre/ERT2, and FRT site flanked Kanamycin/neomycin selection cassette was inserted into the consensus start ATG codon of the mouse Wnt11 gene in the RP23-122D14 BAC. The PGK-Neo/Kan cassette was removed by transient Flpe-recombinase expression. The resulting modified Wnt11-myrTagRFP-IRES-CE BAC transgene was microinjected into (C57BL/6 x DBA) F1 donor eggs. Founder line 28 was subsequently established. (J:159099, J:187213)
