Allele Type:    Targeted (Null/knockout) Mutations:    Insertion, Intragenic deletion   Mutation details: Sequence encoding 19 amino acids (635-653) of the Rel-homology domain were replaced by a neomycin selection cassette. A frameshift mutation was introduced into the downstream sequence encoding amino acids 654 through 710. Western blot analysis showed the presence of truncated peptide in homozygous mutant mice.
