Assay type: RNA in situ
MGI Accession ID: MGI:2180356
Gene symbol: T
Gene name: brachyury, T-box transcription factor T
Probe: T cDNA4
Probe preparation: Antisense labelled with digoxigenin RNA
Visualized with: Alkaline phosphatase
Results
Specimen 9 cdx1 +/-: embryonic day 8.5; Cdx1tm1Pgr/Cdx1+ (more )
Note: 13 somites.
Structure Level Pattern Image Note
TS13: trunk unsegmented mesenchyme Present Regionally restricted 9_cdx1 +/- The anterior boundary of expression was located one somite posterior to the last formed somite.

Specimen 9 cdx1 -/- cdx2+/-: embryonic day 8.5; Cdx1tm1Pgr/Cdx1tm1Pgr, Cdx2tm1Fbe/Cdx2+ (more )
Note: 15 somites.
Structure Level Pattern Image Note
TS13: trunk unsegmented mesenchyme Present Regionally restricted 9_cdx1 -/- cdx2 +/- As in controls, the anterior boundary of expression was located one somite posterior to the last formed somite. The level was not changed in the mutant. The expression domain was posteriorly truncated due to loss of tail bud tissues in the mutant.
