Notes
This allele arose in mice exposed to chronic gamma irradiation at a dosage of .2mrad per hour. Sooty arose in the C57BL/6 strain. KitlSl-so/+ mice have a dilute coat and light tail. Homozygotes are black-eyed white but live 10 to 40 days (J:13416)(J:13137).
