A Tbr1 (nonfunctional allele) were generated by inserting an Frt-PGKNeopA-Frt cassette and a synthetic TauGFP-IRESCreERT2 DNA fragment in the first exon behind the translation initiation codon ATG of Tbr1. The neo selection cassette was removed by FLP recombinase.
