Cacna1htm2.1(cre)Glwn - Skeletal System
Recombinase Activity Detail
Allele Information
Allele:
Cacna1htm2.1(cre)Glwn
calcium channel, voltage-dependent, T type, alpha 1H subunit; targeted mutation 2.1, Gary R Lewin
Driver: Cacna1h
Type: Targeted (Null/knockout, Recombinase)
Synonym: Cav3.2Cre
Molecular description: Targeting vectors to insert cre expression cassette after the start codon of the Cacna1h (Cav3.2) gene located at the second exon was used to generate the allele by homologous recombination in ES cells. The insertion of the cre cassettes produces a null mutation of the Cacna1h gene. The neo cassette was removed by flpe recombinase.
