Molecular description: This allele expresses Cre recombinase under the control of the chicken beta-actin promoter coupled with the cytomegalovirus (CMV) immediate early enhancer. The absence of protein expression was confirmed by western blot analysis on LPS-induced bone marrow-derived macrophage extracts.
