This locus controls an antigen found in thymus, spleen, lymph node, bone marrow, blood, kidney and liver. Of strains tested, Ly36.1 was present only in 4 derived from M. m. molossinus; it was not present in 51 laboratory strains or 11 wild-derived stains.
