Mutation details: The transgene construct contains a Phage VII (Ph7/IRE) segment of DNA (derived from a regulatory region approximately 17.9 kb clone downstream of the Bmp5 coding sequences), and an Hsp68 (Hspa1b) minimal promoter-lacZ-SV40-pA reporter cassette. During embryonic development
(E15.5 dpc), the transgene is expressed in several sites including the tips of the developing nasal turbinates and the thyroid cartilage. In adults, the transgene is expressed in multiple tissues following injury, including bone, skin and lung.
