Mutation details: Mouse Ckm promoter was used to drive skeletal and cardiac muscle-specific expression of human LPL with a G to A transition at position 721 that results in an amino acid substitution of aspartic acid to asparagine at position 156 (D156N). This mutation results in an enzymatically inactive protein. Two lines were created (lines 1 and 2).
