MNU treated AKR/J mice develop a high incidence of thymic lymphomas at 6 weeks of age, a significant acceleration over spontaneous occurrence. C57BL/J mice do not develop thymic lymphomas, and only at a low rate if MNU treated. Crosses indicate several genes may contribute, one of which is Tlag1.
