    Analysis of DNA preparations from 33 mutants retaining heterozygosity for D8Mit93 were used to map a series of interstitial deletions on mouse Chromosome 8. Results allowed authors to map Aprt to a 1.1 cM region on mouse Chromosome 8 between the markers D8Mit55 and D8Mit169 to determine the following order of loci on mouse Chromosome 8: D8Mit75 - D8Mit41 - D8Mit11 - D8Mit12 - D8Mit271 - D8Mit89 - D8Mit119 - D8Mit275 - D8Mit55 - D8Tur1 - Aprt - D8Mit169 - D8Mit201 - D8Mit13 - D8Mit42 - D8Mit56 - D8Mit93.
