Hba-x overlapping clones P48
Notes
  • Experiment
Allelic variation in the mouse alpha-globin cluster on mouse Chromosome 11 was speculated to be due to an HVR (hypervariable marker) within the region as has been found in the human genome. Subclones of the 2CF1 clone were directly sequenced to reveal a tandem repeat of 35bp. D11H16S262 is estimated to be approximately 18kb upstream of Hba-x in an alignment of overlapping clones.
