    Southern analysis of A/HeJ liver DNA and DNA from somatic cell hybrids of Chinese hamster E36 cells x A/HeJ mouse peritoneal macrophages, was used to map Mtv13 to mouse Chromosome 4. Hybrid clones 10-2 and 6D3AZ containing only mouse Chromosome 4 were positive for Mtv13, while clone 4E4AZ1 lacking Chromosome 4 was negative.
