  Authors note that mapping of the mocD.1 claone was carried out using (1) a series of interspecific mice, (2) somatic cell hybrids carrying deletions on the mouse X Chromosome and (3) a panel of irradiation fusion gene transfer somatic cell hybrids containing mouse X Chromosome fragments. This analysis localized Atp7a proximal to Pgk1 on mouse Chromosome X (data not shown).
