  • Experiment
    In 982 meioses of the EUCIB backcross the following SSCP markers on mouse Chromosome 7 were ordered: D7Mit33 - D7Mit37 - D7Mit38 - 0.7 - D7Mit17 - D7Mit94 - D7Mit127 - D7Mit235 - 0.25 - D7Mit219 D7Mit280 - D7Mit63 - D7Mit236 - D7Mit130 - 0.25 - D7Mit53 -0.2 - D7Mit97 - D7Mit150 - 0.4 - D7Mit281 - 0.2 - D7Mit222. Importantly, the authors indicated that the tubby candidate locus mapped to the 0.25 cM region flanked by D7Mit235 and D7Mit63, and from this region physical mapping using additional markers wasinitiated to clone tubby.
