  • Experiment
Various sets of deletion mutants involving the Ednrb locus were used to derive a molecular map of the region of mouse Chromosome 14 surronding Ednrb. The markers mapping to the 0.5 cM region deleted by mutant s15DttMb were ordered as follows: D14Mit93 -Ednrb - D19Mit94. The markers mapping to the 2.0 cM region deleted by mutant s36Pub were ordered as follows: D14Mit38 - D14Mit93 - Ednrb - D14Mit94 - D14Mit166 - D14Mit42 - D14Mit165. The markers mapping to the 1.3 cM region deleted by mutant s1Acrg were ordered as follows: D14Mit8 - D14Mit145 - D14Mit164 - D14Mit38 - D14Mit93 - Edrnb. The markers mapping to the 3.3 cM region deleted by mutants 24Pub were as follows: D14Pri1 - D14Mit8 - D14Mit145 - D14Mit164 - D14Mit38 - D14Mit93 - Ednrb - D14Mit94- D14Mit166 - D14Mit42 - D14Mit165. The extent of the deleted segments given here in cMs is that which was confirmed, the deletions may in fact be larger.
