  Overlapping clones were physically mapped by restriction analysis and Southern blot to generate a contig encoding 4 regions of Igh-V19/Igh-V28 sequences on mouse Chromosome 6. The following arrangement of the sites was reported as follows: ~14kb 5' flanking sequence - Igk-V19/Igk-V28 site 1 (de) - ~19kb intergenic sequence - Igk-V19/Igk-V28 site 2 (df) - ~29kb intergenic sequence - Igh-V19/Igk-V28 site 3 (dg) - 23kb intergenic sequence - Igh-V19/Igk-V28 site 4 (dh) - ~16kb 3' flanking sequence.
