Notes
  • Reference
    Authors use W19H, D4S76 and D5Sc25 for KitW-19H, D5H4S76, and D5Mnl25.
  • Experiment
A M.m. domesticus-KitW-19H/+ female was crossed to a M. spretus +/+ male to produce +/+ and KitW-19H/+ F1 progeny. Restriction analysis of DNA from these progeny showed that D5Mnl25 genomic DNA sequences are absent from the KitW-19H/+ mice and present in +/+ mice. These data indicated that D5Mnl25 maps within the KitW-19H deletion on mouse Chromosome 5.
