    Mouse Sts was mapped to the X and Y Chromosomes by means of physical mapping. Genomic DNA of mouse-hamster somatic cell hybrids was EcoRV digested and analyzed by Southern blot. Mouse specific (BALB/c) bands of 7, 1.4 and 0.5kb were detected in mouse-hamster cell hybrids retaining only the mouse X Chromosome and hybrids retaining the mouse Y Chromosome plus various autosomes.
