Notes
  • Experiment
Analysis of 29 CXXB (BALB/c Ann.Xid x C57BL/10)F1 pre-B cell lines yielded a relative chromosomal order of Igh-V genes that is consistent with observed patterns of Igh-V gene deletion and retention. This data physically mapped the following order of locion mouse Chromosome 12: Igh-VJ558, Igh-V3609, Igh-VJ606, Igh-V3660, Igh-VGAM3.8, Igh-VX24, Igh-VS107, Igh-VQ52, Igh-V7183. Genes within families may not map together, for example Igh-V3660 genes map to the 3' location within the Igh-V region.
