Notes
  • Experiment
Lung tumors obtained from (A/J x C3H/HeJ)F1 and (C3H/HeJ x A/J)F1 mice were analyzed for allele loss (LOH) at various SSLP markers on distal mouse Chromosome 4. The authors indicated that a 3 cM region of mouse Chromosome 4, flanked proximally by SSLP marker D4Mit251 and distally by D4Mit170, included a mouse lung tumor suppressor locus, Tsp2. The mouse tumor suppressor region included markers D4Mit54 and D4Mit158. Futhermore, another mouse lung tumor suppressor locus, Tsp1 was indicated as mapping to a region near D4Mit77 at a distance of approximately 30 cMs from Tsp1.
