Notes
  • Reference
    The authors use RDA6.2, RDA10.4, RDA10.2, rah GTP, and Ad-Rab for locus symbols D11Seg45, D11Seg46, D11Seg47, Rah1, and D11Seg50 respectively.
  • Experiment
To identify the physical boundries of Hfh11nu, the authors genetically mapped many ends of the P1 clones by SSCP on progeny of crosses (AKR-Hfh11nu-str/nu-str x C57BL/6J)F2, (AKR-Hfh11nu-str/nu-str x MOLF/Ei)F2, (AKR-Hfh11nu-str/nu-str x CAST/Ei)F2 with the closest flanking crossovers. Based upon the analysis of these progeny, authors determined that the smallest physical region in which the nude was determined to lie is a minimum of 230kb (from D11Seg8 to D11Seg30) and a maximum of 370kb (from D11Seg4 to D11Seg41).
