    Authors use mice carrying t-haplotypes, th2, th7, and t1Br, to show that the t-haplotype allele Tcp1a is separable from all of the identified t-haplotype factors except Tcd1. They also suggest that tct and tcs1 are distinct loci and that the TOrl deletion carries a short segment of t-haplotype chromatin containing Tcp1a, tcs1, and Tcd1. The genes tcs1 and Tcd1 are suggested to be equivalent and this has subsequently been found to be true.
