Authors use Amg and TelXY for locus symbols Amel, TelXqYq1 and TelXqYq2 respectively. Data was submitted to MGD under accesion number MGD-CREX-379.
  • Experiment
Authors show that three out of four of the C57BL/6J specific BgIII RFLP bands map to mouse Chromosome 7 and that the >23kb specific band segregates in an X-linked fashion. They also report that the Clc4-5' UTR probe detects two fragments in C57BL/6J, a >23kb fragment which corresponds to Clc4-1 and a 65kb band which corresponds to Clc4-2. The authors state that these results indicate that a small portion of Clc4-1/Clc4-2 is present in both chromosomal locations in C57BL/6J mice.
