Notes
  • Experiment
A total of 28 hybrids were derived from the fusion of Chinese hamster cells and mouse fibroblast cells carrying Searle's translocation T(X;16)16H. The presence of an intact Chromosome 16, the reciprocal T(X;16)16H translocated Chromosomes XT and 16T, and the expression of Sod1 in individual hybrids was tested. The results indicate that Sod1 is localized in the B5-C region of Chromosome 16, the portion of Chromosome 16 that is translocated to X in XT. Data not shown.
